| I have written a story on the home page of this site telling the world how great my Dad was to me. Dads don't have to be famous to be great...they just have to be great Dads. My Dad loved me, guided me and helped me when times were tough. I turned out pretty good, in no small part because of my Father. My Dad was a great Dad. If your Dad's a great Dad too, spend an hour, write a story or write about a memory, or write about how your Dad helped you or your family, or write why you love and appreciate him. Then send what you have written to us by clicking on the "Send Your Story" button on the left of this page. We'll publish your story on this web site for the world to see. My Dad always had rules for me. Please read the following rules for the story about your Dad. Rules & Instructions 1) Write a story about the fond memories you have about your Dad or the good times you had or are having. Your story should be between 100 and 1000 words long. Please give your story an original title, it will make it easier to find your story once it is published. 2) Only stories relating fond memories and/or positive thoughts will be published. We realize all Dad's are not so great, but this site is dedicated to the great ones. 3) This is a family site. Stories with profanity or content which we deem to be unacceptable to this site will not be published. 4) We sell whistles from this site (click here). Although we would like you to buy a whistle to help cover the costs in maintaining this site, you do not have to buy anything to have your story published. 5) Send the story to us. Simply write the story then cut and paste it into the box provided on the submission page. Or e-mail the story to us at Story@DadsAreGreat.com. Your story must be in the body of the e-mail. Do not send your story as an attachment to the e-mail or it will be deleted. 6) We will try to publish your story as soon as possible and we will e-mail you when your story is published. However, the length of time that your story remains published depends on the number of entries we receive and the space allowed us for this web site. We reserve the right to publish, not to publish or to discontinue or delete a published story at any time, solely at our discretion and for any reason. After all, this service is free. 7) Send us your name, and e-mail address along with your story so that we can notify you when your story is published. Neither your name or e-mail address will be published unless you specify that you want them to be.
