We sell these wooden whistles for three
reasons:
1) To help pay for the cost of maintaining this website.
2) To further the memory of my Dad who loved whistles.
3) To help allow every child to grow up with memories of their own. $2.00
for each whistle sold will be donated to to Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America.
Big Brothers/Big Sisters couples children who do not have a Dad or a Mom with
an older mentor who can spend time with them and "be there" when they
are needed. Through this program, all kids can have a Dad or a Mom even if they

The original whistle. Hand
crafted from oak, fruitwood or other hardwoods (whatever is the best
available at the time). The last whistle I made was made from a
branch from an apple tree in my backyard. No
ornate designs. But one great hand-made whistle.
