What a Wonderful Dad
by Dannielle
story 1041

When I was 2 years old, my Mom and Dad had seperated.  He lived in Ohio and I lived in Tennessee.  I never got to talk or see my Dad over the years.  Eventually I started talking to my Dad over the phone.  I didn't really know what to say when we talked...so many things were running through my mind at the time.  Then in Feb. of 2001, I got to meet my Dad for the first time in 13 years.  In those 13 years, he had got married and had another child which she was 4 at the time that we had met.  When I gave him a hug for the first time, it was just a wonderful feeling that I had.  It seemed like I knew my Dad all my life, he didn't seem to be a stranger.  Then in Aug. of the same year, I moved to Ohio with my Dad.  It was a big adjustment to everyone.  We got to know each other better, and we shared most interest.  I just wanted to say that I have a amazing Dad.  I couldn't ask for a better Dad.  Every time he walks in a room or looks at me, all I can to is smile.  He is a wonderful and special person and I'm glad that I have him back in my life.  I cherish every time or moment that we're together.  I love him so much and I will continue on loving him each and every day.  What a Wonderful Dad I have...
